Max Lu

Max Hao Lu is a researcher, maker, and entrepreneur. Together with the “Father of Wearable Computing” Steve Mann, Max co-founded the global innovation network MannLab to research, develop, and commercialize the innovations in the field of Wearable Computing, Humanistic Intelligence, and Smart Cities. His team designed the Augmented Reality exhibit at Canadian National Exhibit 2016, and the team’s work on “Phenomenal Augmented Reality” won the “Most Futuristic Award” at Eleventh International Conference on Tangible, Embedded and Embodied Interactions. Max is responsible for the expansion of MannLab to China, and MannLab has been chosen as top 10 most important initiatives by Shenzhen Investment Bureau for 2017.
